WHY WORK WITH ME?

01 Jack of All Trades

Graphic design is the backbone of everything I make- the same instincts for layout, hierarchy, and composition just show up differently depending on whether it's a poster, a frame of animation, or a page spread.

02 Intent First

Every project stands on its intent. The clearer that foundation, the stronger everything built on top of it- the layout, the colour, the final piece. Get the "why" right, and the "how" mostly figures itself out.

03 I Love a Good Direction

A good brief is a gift, and I take it seriously. I ask the questions that matter early, understand exactly what the project needs, and then just get on with it.

04 Rules Are a Starting Point

I like knowing the rules well enough to know exactly which ones are worth bending. If a project asks for something I haven't tried before, that's usually a yes, not a no.

05 Here for the People

The people part is my favourite part. Give me new people to work with and I'm happy. I learn something new from every creative I sit across from, and I'm always chasing that next conversation with someone who thinks nothing like me but somehow gets exactly what I'm going for.

SPILL IT.

Got a project, a question, or just want to talk shop? I'm all ears.

LET'S TALK

MORE ABOUT ME

STAYING IN ONE LANE HAS NEVER REALLY SUITED ME.

STAYING IN ONE LANE HAS NEVER REALLY SUITED ME.

Part of being a communication designer, honestly, is just trying to figure out what to call my own practice, because it spans illustration, film, print, and a bunch of things that still don't have a proper name.

Underneath all of that though, I believe design shouldn't be neutral, and at some point I stopped pretending mine should be either. I like work that picks a fight, or at least takes up its own space, and doesn't apologise for it.

A lot of that comes from what I read outside of design as much as what I make inside it. I spend an insane amount of my free time on art history and political theory, and political design is, hands down, my favourite genre- to make and to obsess over, because it's so much more than just decoration. If a piece of design makes someone a little uncomfortable on the way to making them think, I've usually done my job right.
